What Remains consists of photographs of white t-shirts in various stages of use and deterioration. While going through the painful ritual of cleaning up and clearing out a loved one's belongings after they have passed, I found these shirts, laying lifeless, in my uncle's dresser. These images are about loss and longing. The shirts themselves became ghost-like pieces, recalling a man who was like a father to me, his essence so much a part of the fabric even in his absence.
